Inventory Manager
 

Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced inventory manager to oversee personnel and operations in several key departments. Opportunities exist for experienced, professional individuals that wish to break into the emerging cannabis industry. Responsibilities:

  • Manage personnel and oversee operations in multiple departments including purchasing, processing, distribution, and manufacturing.
  • Optimize efficiencies and workflow throughout departments
  • Facilitate the transportation and balance of inventory between multiple locations
  • Facilitate compliance with new state track and trace software
  • Develop and maintain supply line contracts according to state regulatory framework
  • Develop and maintain inventory reconciliation and loss prevention systems
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels according to preset parameters
  • Develop and oversee systems for state testing mandates
  • Evaluate sales data and state sales trends to ensure optimal product profile
  • Maintain oversight of sale item inventory to ensure adequate stock for any specials
  • Facilitate budget meetings and provide forecasts of inventory/spend
  • Maintain proficiency in POS software and determine best practices for its use
  • Inform and educate staff and customers about new products
  • Maintain clear communication between all departments
  • Lead and mentor junior team members


Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Inventory Manager or related role
  • 4+ years of overall inventory logistics experience
  • Bachelors in Business Management preferred
  • Solid experience with inventory tracking, supply logistics, and regulatory compliance
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience with inventory management software
  • Proficiency in general office software, Excel, Word and the Google suite
  • Excellent communication, organization, and administration skills
  • Thorough knowledge of cannabis market segmentation and industry preferred
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry

Security

 

Santa Cruz's own world-class dispensary of the highest quality cannabis medicine is seeking an experienced Security professional to undertake responsibility for creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere in which the patient always feels safe and secure. 

Responsibilities:

  • Observe and Report any suspicious activity and identify key facial features of any patients who may appear to show signs of suspicious behavior.
  • Report all incidents that occur with the proper documentation.
  • Conduct detailed sweeps of the building while practicing vigorous attention to detail.
  • Escort staff when opening and closing to secure their safety. 
  • Secure the shop at opening and closing.
  • Provide support for the opening procedure and maintain a clean and hygienic floor.
  • Clean and maintain common areas like the parking lot, the waiting area and floor.
  • Conduct necessary closing duties along with door monitoring with other security staff.
  • Guard should remain alert and aware of all situations going on in the parking lot, the back of the property, in front of the store and inside the building. 
  • Monitor the cameras and all movements outside.
  • Patrols around the facility.
  • Management of patients making sure new patients have medical recommendations and a current, valid, government-issued photo ID.
  • Security is responsible for opening the door for all incoming patients. Engage them with a friendly greeting, and politely ask for credentials or identification. 


Minimum Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the security field is highly preferred, but not required.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience required.
  • Solid experience in communicating effectively and professionally with all patrons, no matter age, gender or medical situation.
  • The ability to diffuse high-intensity situations with diligence, professionalism, and respect.
